Bridal Style Tips, The Mews News

VICTOIRE VERMEULEN TRUNKSHOW

Here at The Mews we pride ourselves on having a sense of individuality with our brands and style ethos. We enable this by having exclusivity with all of our brands in the U.K, ensuring the market is not over saturated, also you wont have the same dress as everyone else.

Building from our international reputation, we are lucky enough to host new, up and coming designers for trunk shows and we have the delight of hosting Victoire Vermeulen in our Clifton studio from 15-30th March.

Unavailable anywhere else in the U.K and here for only a limited period of time, its key you book in fast, as once the dresses are gone, they’re gone!

Billy Elliot dress

All created from a dance manifesto we delve into the first striking look, Billy Elliot. If you are looking for ultimate chic – look no further. With a simplistic cut, fitted but not too sculpted silhouette Billy Elliot offers a real ease of movement and comfort with real elegance. For all those who love simple styles this is one for you. Keeping a fashion forward stance we have a draped over sized bow which works in harmony with the clean lines of the neck.

L’oiseau de feu dress

If you are seeking simple but unlike Billy Elliot, you would rather an A- Line silhouette then L’oiseau de feu is your answer. With a low back, deep V and delicate straps, the bodice sits on your chest softly and welcomes a full circle skirt from the waist down.  A line shapes are great for multiple shapes and create a great drama when your guests see you for the first time.

Filitosa dress

Introducing lace in the style of Filitosa. Perfect for any church wedding or if you want a little extra coverage on top Filitosa offers a ¾ length sleeve with delicate eyelash trimmed lace. With a heavier lace pattern it feels modern and striking versus a delicate barely there look. Synching you in at the waist with a box pleated skirt we can again see the A-Line silhouette, we think its perfect for an in-between seasons wedding.

Vivaro dress

Backless dresses have become the recent pinnacle of bridal fashions with Vivaro falling nothing short of this trend. Sticking with the all crepe look, Victoire has introduced different fabric weights to aid the beautiful billowing cape style sleeve, whilst keeping the dress body slightly heavier. With a high neck and button front detailing, Vivaro is great if you want to keep it all about the party in the back.

Evisa dress

Keeping it beautifully simple we have the Evisa slip dress. Slip dresses are a great base for a minimal look, which craves chunky jewellery. Change up your look with the top for the day, and party the night away in the slinky number without. This changes up how you look and offers you the best of both!

Ota Dress

Change of lace and change of style the Ota dress offers timeless beauty. With a simple no-frills silhouette it’s all about the cut and attention to detail in the unusual rose lace, which enhances the design.

Great for a summer wedding in an English garden or abroad in the vineyards of Italy, the Ota is so versatile we feel it’s a great all rounder. Accessories can really be played with to enhance your look and we think a Mews Collection plain veil would finish the look perfectly.
